Ever since winning the first edition of the Bartók World Competition in 2017, Cosima has felt at home in Budapest. Last month she arrived at the Liszt Academy at the invitation of the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, an orchestra she is familiar with since playing with them during the final. The violinist has preserved all her youthful openness and enthusiasm, while also having amassed huge experience since our first interview in 2017. The Bartók World Competition and Festival from th Finnish and Japanese perspectives.

Most recently, this month, the world-renowned violinist Salvatore Accardo came to Hungary as the leader of the Quartetto Accardo, while at the end of summer, he visited Budapest as the head of jury of the Bartók World Competition. He believes that the level-headedness of competitors is not enough in a concert, as during a concert performance, one needs a wide range of emotions.

The image spot promoting the Bartók World Competition and Festival - held between 9 and 17 September – can now boast four international awards. This time the creators of the image spot commissioned by the Liszt Academy were recognised with the prize of the Cannes Media & TV Awards.

ALTHOUGH ÁGNES LANGER HAS JUST RECENTLY CONQUERED HUNGARIAN MUSIC, SHE TOOK ITS STAGES BY STORM. SHE HAS BEEN STUDYING IN GERMANY SINCE 2005 BUT TURNED OUT TO BE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL HUNGARIAN CONTESTANT OF THE BARTÓK WORLD COMPETITION AND FESTIVAL.
