POPULAR YOUNG PIANISTS ON THE GALA
A NEW GENERATION OF COMPOSERS WILL BE INTRODUCED BY THE TWO VERY POPULAR HUNGARIAN ARTISTS JÁNOS BALÁZS AND BALÁZS FÜLEI
On the Gala concert they, along with pianist Balázs Kálvin who graduated in 2014 at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, will perform the six award-winning works chosen by the international jury. The winner of the Bartók World Competition of Composition will be announced at the Gala Concert and the audience will also find out which works will be selected into the repertoire of the next round of Bartók World Competition of Pianists in 2019.
Beside contemporary music, piano compositions of the greatest 19th and 20th century Hungarian composers will be performed at the Gala Concert, on the 25th of November 2015, at the Solti Hall of Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.
