Ms Sakamoto was born in 1997. She won the top prize of the 24th Japan Classical Music Competition in 2014, and a year later, the 1st prize of the 11th Romanian International Music Competition. She has given solo recitals in Romania, Slovenia and Japan. Ms Sakamoto won the Music Award of the 25th ABC Audition for New Artists’ Concert in Japan in 2016. Between 2014–2016, she was taking music lessons with Seiji Ozawa himself at Seiji Ozawa Music Academy. She graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music for Children, and now she is attending the Soloist Diploma Course (with Koichiro Harada and Michiko Kamiya) and doing string quartet studies (with Kazuhide Isomura and Yoshiko Nakura) at the same institution.
