Marta Kowalczyk

After graduating from the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Jan Stanienda, Ms Kowalczyk completed a Master of Arts at the Royal Academy where she had studied with György Pauk. Currently she is a student of Salvatore Accardo at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona. Marta’s most recent achievements include the Royal Philharmonic Society Award, the J&A Beare Bow Prize, and in 2015 the Grand Prix with two Special Prizes at the Ludwig van Beethoven International Chamber Music Competition in Poland. She made her debut at Wigmore Hall premiering in the UK with Krzysztof Penderecki’s La Follia, and she toured the U.S. performing Sibelius and Wieniawski’s violin concertos.
