Masha Diatchenko was born in Rome into a family of violin players, Masha herself began playing the violin and the piano at the age of four, under the guidance of her father. At the age of five she scored her first success at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. From then on, she was touring Italy as child prodigy. At the age of 12, she finished the Conservatory of Genoa. Masha was the first 12 –year-old violinist in the world who had performed Paganini’s 24 caprices in a single live concert. In 2015, she graduated from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and the following year, she won the ''Premio Presidente della Repubblica''. Since 2014 she has been studying with Boris Belkin at the Maastricht Academy of Music and at the Academy Chigiana of Siena. Ms Diatchenko plays Stradivari’s 'Toscano' violin guarded by the Accademia di Santa Cecilia.
