Ms Kim started playing the violin in 2002 and graduated from the Seoul Art High School in 2015. She has been studying at Yonsei University with Song-suk Kang and Sang-soon Lee since 2016. She reached the semi-finals at the Osaka Festa Chamber Music Competition in 2014 and was the recipient of the Grand Prize of T&B Entertainment International Artist Competition and at the Seoul Youth Chamber Music Competition. She was also the laureate of the most prestigious Korean youth chamber music competitions in 2015. In 2016, she took to the stage at the LG Spring Festival in New York and this year, she won the Seoul Orchestra Competition and the Yejin Music Competition. Ms Kim has attended David Bourlin, Milan Vitek and Mikyung Lee’s masterclasses.
