Hungarian violinist Gábor Homoki was born in 1989 and entered his first violin class when he was six. From 2002, he was in the Preparatory Class of the Bartók Conservatory as László Dénes’s student. At the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music he was taking classes with Barnabás Kelemen, Katalin Kokas and Miklós Szenthelyi. As a founding member of the Kelemen Quartet, he has collaborated with worldwide renowned artists, Joshua Bell, József Lendvai, Pekka Kuusisto and Nicholas Alstaedt. In 2011, the quartet won the 4th Beijing International Music Competition, and the Second Prize, Audience Award and the 'Musica Viva' Special Award of the 6th Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. In 2015, they debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York.
