Born in Chicago, Arianna Dotto commenced her studies at the Conservatory of Music in Milan at the age of 7 and earned her diploma summa cum laude there. During the same period, she would also commute to London for lessons with Ani Schnarch at the Royal College of Music and to the Fiesole Music School as well as to the Accademia di Santa Cecilia. The following two years intensively working on her string quartet skills at the Berlin University of the Arts with the Artemis Quartet. Ms Dotto obtained degrees in violin at the Lausanne College of Music. She is currently studying with Jaime Laredo at the Cleveland Institute of Music for a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree. She has collected a number of awards, for example, 1st prize at the International Luigi Nono Chamber Music Competition. In 2008, she received the Young Female Italian Musician of the Year Award by the Lions Club of Milan. Ms Dotto plays a Vincenzo Sannino violin (Naples 1905).
