Anne-Marie Johnson is currently completing a master’s degree at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland under Mihaela Martin. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and also attended the Australian National Academy of Music taking classes with William Hennessy. In 2013, she was awarded 1st place in the Australian National Academy of Music Concerto Competition, and in 2014, in the Dorcas McClean Scholarship Competition. Ms Johnson has had the opportunity to record and perform Elgar and Mendelssohn’s violin concertos with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. She is also a dedicated chamber musician as Australian Chamber Orchestra Emerging Artist and was a founding member of the Australian Octet.
