Andrey Pashkevich was born in Voronezh in 1988. He started his musical education in 1993 in his home-town. In 2004, he gained admission to the violin class of Alexandre Revich at the Tchaikovsky Moscow Central Musical School, and in 2007, he continued his studies at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire with Irina Bochkova. Currently, Mr Pashkevich is taking a post-graduate course at the Maimonida State Classical Academy with Evgeny Levin. His first significant competition triumph came to him in 2005, when he won 1st prize at the International Andrey Korsakov Competition. In the same year, he was awarded the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Fund Scholarship. In 2012, Mr Pashkevich won 3rd prize at the International Yuri Yankelevich Violin Competition, and in 2014, he came third at the 2nd International Leopold Auer Violin Competition.
