Zhang Xunyue graduated at the Affiliated Middle School of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and is currently studying at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin with Stephan Picard. She is the winner of the second prize and the Mozart Best Interpretation Prize at the 8th International Violin Competition Henri Marteau in Germany, as well the third prize and three special awards winner at the International Violin Competition “Rodolfo Lipizer Prize” in 2022 in Italy. As a soloist, she performed in Germany, Italy and China with orchestras such as the Hofer Symphoniker and the Shanghai Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. She has given recitals in Berlin, Shanghai, among others. In 2023, she was selected to participate in the Music Academy of Villecroze in France and performed at the gala concert. The year prior, she was selected to participate in the International Summer Academy Ettal in Germany and took part in the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Italy. She attended masterclasses of Ana Chumachenco, Oleh Krysa, Boris Kuschnir and Ning Feng, among others. As a scholarship holder, she plays on a violin by Andrea Guarneri, Cremona 1663, generously on loan from Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
