Zoltán Schwartz studied at the School for Exceptional Young Talents at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music under the direction of Eszter Perényi, Márta Ábrahám and Katalin Kokas. He is currently completing master’s studies at the Liszt Academy as a student of Miklós Szenthelyi. He participated in masterclasses of Gábor Takács-Nagy, Dora Schwarzberg, Dmitry Sinkovsky, Shlomo Mintz, Zakhar Bron, Hagai Shaham, among others. He won 1st and 2nd prizes on several occasions, including at the Rados and Zathureczky competitions in Hungary and the Gianluca Campochiaro in Italy. As a soloist, he has performed with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, the Danubia Orchestra, the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra Miskolc, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra and the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has performed at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Covent Garden, in Montreal, Toronto, Paris, Brussels, Santander, and has given solo recitals several times in the Netherlands. At the chamber music concerts of the Festival Academy Budapest and Kaposfest at Kaposvár, Hungary, he performed with Barnabás Kelemen, Kristóf Baráti, István Várdai, Jonathan Cohen, Mirjam Schröder, Camille Thomas, among others.
