Preliminary: cca. 20 min. programme

 

1) Bartók: Rhapsody No. 1, BB 94a or No. 2, BB 96a

 

AND

 

2) One or two movements from J. S. Bach: Violin Sonatas and Partitas, BWV 1001–1006 (except for the Ciaccona from Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004. If you choose to play two movements, it should be from the same piece)

 

Semi-final: 2 or 4 pieces, cca. 40 min. programme

 

Option A:

1) Bartók: Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 1, BB 84 or Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 2, BB 85 or Sonata for Solo Violin, BB 124

 

AND

 

2) One of the winner pieces of the Bartók World Competition for composers 2022 (7’) (see below)

 

Option B:
