The Sonoro Quartet was founded in Belgium in 2019. Despite the fact that they are a relatively young ensemble, they have already made a name for themselves playing on national and international stages. The Sonoro Quartet is currently studying at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy in Amsterdam (NSKA), where they are being coached by renowned professors such as the members of the Danel Quartet, Eberhard Feltz and the Hagen Quartet. The members are also studying at the Orpheus Institute in Ghent and with Heime Müller (Artemis Quartet). Previous and future engagements include concerts in venues such as Amuz and De Singel in Antwerp, De Bijloke in Gent, Bozar in Brussels, TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden and the Beethoven Festival 2020 in Bonn. For the season 2021/2022, Sonoro Quartet is playing on a tour in Belgium celebrating the composer César Franck’s 200th birthday.
