The Quartet Integra was formed in 2015, two years later they perfomed with Yamazaki Nobuko at a chamber music concert for young musicians and were invited by Günter Pichler of the Alban Berg Quartet to participate in the Chigiana Summer Academy where they received a scholarship. In 2019, the ensemble won first prize at the 8th Akiyoshidai Music Competition. That year, they performed with Tsutsumi Tsuyoshi in a concert, as well as with Neriki Shigeo at the Toyama Chamber Music Festival. In 2020, the quartet won the prize “Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena” from Clive Greensmith at the Chigiana Summer Academy. Recently, the have been awarded the Kirishima International Music Festival Award and Music Director Tsutsumi Tsuyoshi’s award. As Suntory Hall Chamber Music Fellows, they are studying under Tsutsumi Tsuyoshi, Neriki Shigeo, Ikeda Kikuei, Mori Hakuro, Isomura Kazuhide, Harada Koichiro and Hanada Wakako.
