Ádám Balogh started to play piano when he was seven. After finishing the School for Exceptional Young Talents at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, he started ibidem his bachelorʼs degree in 2016, studying piano with Attila Némethy and chamber music with Márta Gulyás. He made his orchestral debut in 2010 with the Budapest Festival Orchestra under the baton of Ivan Fischer, since then he performed with acclaimed orchestras in Hungary and abroad as well. He is a prize winner of the inaugural Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition (2015), the Hague International Piano Competition (2015) and the International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest (2014, 2010), among others. He has taken lessons and master classes with Dmitri Bashkirov, Zoltán Kocsis, Roger Muraro, Tamás Vásáry, and many others, currently studying with Arie Vardi in Hannover with Erasmus scholarship. He was also invited to the 2017 Bayreuther Festspiele.
