Toccata

“Structural formula of my work is determined by a tripartite returning considerably altered, preceded by a prelude and a motto. Motivic structure of my work is formed by the four-note head motif of the motto integrating thereby the contrasting elements. The ritmical basis of three-part core of the form is determined by the distinctly assimmetric rythm-schemes of the first fast part.  The middle-part can be characterized by its extremity of registers. The closing element is the substantive summary of the whole work. The increase that followed the slow part culminates in the recapitulation of the message of the piece as a sort of a wide angle shot of the work’s psychological profile. The motto determines the thematics of the section, the basic motion in the Agitato section gives its rhytmical accompaniment the slow middle-part determines the registers and their synthesis forms the integrity of the whole work.”
