 “Deconstruction of a state of calm” is a tribute to Béla Bartók from the perspective of a 21st century composer. In each of the sections we can find small hints from the music of de Hungarian composer that be observed in the analysis of my piece, but that only become evident to the listener in the brief quotation from the Piano Concerto Nº3 at the end of the penultimate section.”
