New Liszt Ferenc Chamber Choir
Conductor: Jean-Sébastien Vallée
Bernadett Szekér (zongora), Berta Bánki (fuvola)
The New Liszt Ferenc Chamber Choir, which at the time of the concert will be thirteen years old, is welcoming yet again an internationally renowned conductor to offer a taste of the classics and novelties of choral literature. Canadian–American Jean-Sébastien Vallée is a distinguished professor at McGill University in Montreal and the artistic director of the Mendelssohn Choir in Toronto. His guest performance is a guarantee of refreshing diversity in several respects. On the one hand, his presence will lend new colorful aspects to the performance of the choir led by László Norbert Nemes and a different perspective during behind-the-scenes work; on the other hand, the repertoire of which he is an ambassador will surely have a refreshing effect on the audience, as well.
