Lin Yongjie attended primary and middle schools affiliated with the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and studied with Shao Dan. He is currently studying at the Central Conservatory of Music under Yun-Chin Zhou. For several years, he has also benefited from the regular guidance of Philippe Giusiano. In addition, Lin Yongjie has participated in numerous international masterclasses where he received valuable advice from Ingolf Wunder, Kevin Kenner, Dina Yoffe, Stanislav Ioudenitch, Ewa Kupiec and Dang Thai Son. He has won several prizes, including first prize in the piano category at the Sixth Middle School Scholarship Competition of the Central Conservatory of Music, first prize at the First Stichel Cup Youth Piano Competition of the International Federation of Art Education and the Fan Jianqin Scholarship from his middle school. He participated in textbooks recordings for the publishing house of the Central Conservatory of Music. He has performed at venues such as the Chopin Manor in Duszniki-Zdrój (Poland), the Municipal Theatre in Épinal (France), the concert halls of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, the National University of Music of Bucharest, and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
