Benjámin Forgó earned his BA degree at the Liszt Academy in 2021 under András Kemenes, and completed his MA with distinction in 2024 with Dénes Várjon and András Kemenes. He received Grand Prize and Debussy Prize at the National Secondary School Piano Competition, Békéscsaba (2018), he was finalist at the Weiner Leó National Chamber Music Competition (2023) and Piano Campus International Competition in Paris (2024). He played Liszt’s Hungarian Fantasy with Pannon Philharmonic, conducted by Gábor Káli (2025, Kodály Centre, Pécs), the piano four-hands version of Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 with Márton Mikulík (2024, Liszt Academy Solti Hall), Pajta Concerts at Budapest Music Center (2023, 2024), and he performed József Soproni’s works with the Liszt Academy Contemporary Ensemble commemorating the composer (2021, Liszt Academy Grand Hall). He attended renowned musicians’ masterclasses such as David Fray, Eldar Nebolsin, György Kurtág, Ian Fountain, Zoltán Fejérvári, Jenő Jandó, Zoltán Kocsis, Gergely Bogányi, and Lívia Rév.
