Davide Conte earned his Bachelor’s degree at the Tschaikovsky Conservatory in Catanzaro at the age of 18. In 2022 he received a Professional Diploma at the Ridotto Academy in Stradella after taking classes with Aquiles Delle Vigne, Andrzej Jasiński and Vincenzo Balzani. He is currently attending the advanced postgraduate course with Andrea Lucchesini at the Fiesole School of Music. Davide is a scholarship holder of the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein, where he attends the Intensive Weeks with Pavel Gililov and Milana Chernyavska. He has performed in recitals and festivals including D’Annunzio Theatre in Prato, Palazzo Cavanis in Venice, Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali in Trieste, Chiostro di Campitelli in Rome, and Monferrato Festival. In Italy he won the main First Prize at the J.S. Bach Competition in Sestri Levante, Val Tidone International Music Competition, Piano Competition “Città di Albenga”, International Piano Competition “Giulio Rospigliosi”, Competition “Città di Bucchianico” and many others. He received a prize also at the Isidor Bajić Piano Memorial Competition, at the Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition and in 2017 he was the only Italian awarded at the International Bartók Piano Competition in Graz.
