She started her piano lessons at the age of six, then she attended China Central Conservatory of Music in 2007 while she was the winner of Steinway & Sons Piano International Youth Competition in China. Between 2010 and 2015 she has been a full scholarship student of the Manhattan School of Music Pre-college Division, under Solomon Mikowsky. Wenqiao Jiang gave five recitals at Solomon Mikowsky’s music festivals in Spain, Cuba, Germany and New York. In 2016 she won first prize of the New York International Piano Competition, and she performed in the Carnegie Hall with the Youth International Orchestra. That same year, she got accepted by Manhattan School of Music College Division as a full scholarship student under Alexandre Moutouzkine. In 2018 Wenqiao Jiang was the winner of Liszt Concerto Competition in New York, and performed with the Manhattan School of Music Orchestra.
