Simeon Goshev obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the class of Stefan Vladar and, after an Erasmus year in Belgium with Alan Weiss, returned to Vienna to successfully acquire his master’s degree with excellence after studying with world renowned pianists like Oleg Maisenberg and Lilya Zilberstein. He took master classes with Jan Jiracek von Arnim, Michel Béroff, Oxana Yablonskaya, Arie Vardi, Boris Berman, Klaus Hellwig, Pascal Devoyon, Tamás Ungár, among others. In addition, he became a scholar of two foundations – the Josef Windisch-Stipendium in Austria and the Yordan Kamdzhalov Foundation in Bulgaria. His most recent competition successes have been at the Leoš Janáček International Competition in Brno in 2017 and at the International Piano Competition “De Bach au Jazz” in Athens/Paris in 2018. He often records for radio and television broadcasts, as well as performs in concerts throughout Europe.
