As a child of musician parents, classical music has always played a pivotal role in his life. He started his studies at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2015, under the direction of Kálmán Dráfi. The following year, he also enrolled in the Composition Department taught by Gergely Barta. He finished his studies and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 2018. In January 2013, he made his official debut in the Müpa Budapest with Mozart’s Concerto in A major, under the baton of his father Zoltán Kocsis. Since then, he has played with many excellent and distinguished conductors, and became a regular invitee of many acclaimed orchestras. He is the winner of the Philomuses special prize of the Île-de-France International Piano Competition in France, as well as a laureate of the 2016 Liszt Ferenc International Piano Competition.
