Kaoruko Yoshida is currently a first-year master’s student at Tokyo University of Arts, under Chiyoko Noguchi and Tomoko Kawada, after studying earlier under Takako Yamasaki, Tsugio Tokunaga and Yasuko Otani too. Before that, she studied at the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of Arts, under Kazuki Sawa and Takako Yamasaki, graduating in 2019, and taking lessons from Régis Pasquier and Federico Agostini. In 2017 she was selected to perform at the Royal Academy of Music. In recent years, she took part in masterclasses of Régis Pasquier, Cho-Liang Lin, Lorenz Nasturica-Herschcowici, Gérard Poulet and Masao Kawasaki, as well as in chamber music with the Hanson String Quartet, and won first prizes in several domestic competitions, including the Osaka International Music Competition.
