Takada Sean, 22 years old, is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Violin Performance at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) under the tutelage of professors Movses Pogossian and Varty Manouelian. He has previously studied with Li Lin at The Juilliard School in New York, of its Pre-College Division. Sean is also a section violinist with the Long Beach Symphony since November 2022. Sean was recently a winner of the UCLA All-Star Competition, performing Franz Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie, and has received awards at Pacific Music Society and the Menuhin-Dowling competition in California. He has participated in festivals such as PMF and Tanglewood, and has worked in masterclasses with Martin Chalifour, Ani Kavafian, Viktor Tretiakov, and members of the Juilliard String Quartet, among others.
