Date of birth: 9 May, 1995

Alexis Roussine studied at the Central Music School in Moscow for young talents in the class of Galina Tourchaninova, then at the CRR of Paris in the class of Larissa Koloss, and is finishing his musical studies at the Conservatorium Maastricht by obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Boris Belkin’s class. He is also his student at Accademia Internazionale di Imola and Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, and took masterclasses of Gregory Ahss. In 2019, he was invited to play in a trio at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel as part of family concerts, between 2021 and 2023, he was part of the first violins of the Philharmonie Südwestfalen orchestra in Germany. Since 2023, Alexis has been a regular guest player at the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra in Paris and is currently holding a position in the first violins at Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. He received the honorary prize for excellence at the Léopold Bellan International Competition in Paris, second prize and special prize “Young Hope” at the Gnessin International Competition-Festival of Young Violinists, as well as several prizes at prestigious competitions such as Kloster Schöntal, George Phillip Telemann and Carl Flesch.
