Born in Milan, Francesca Bonaita graduated from the Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Verdi” di Milano as best violinist of the academic year. She has been studying with Sergej Krylov, having obtained a master’s degree at the University of Music in Lugano, Switzerland. She is continuing her studies with Aleksey Semenenko at Folkwang Universität der Künste and with Andrey Baranov at Accademia del Ridotto in Stradella. Prestigious engagements include her solo debut with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana and Ensemble900 at the LAC Lugano, recitals in duo with Itamar Golan, and with Enrico Fagone with the Savaria Symphony Orchestra in Budapest. She has signed a contract with the Brilliant Classics label, and has been selected to take part in several prestigious international events, including the Festival Academy Budapest 2023. A winner of several prizes in international competitions, she has been admitted to Salvatore Accardo’s Advanced Higher Musical Courses in Cremona and Accademia Chigiana in Siena. She has attended masterclasses with Dmitri Chichlov, Natalia Prishepenko, Sergey Khachatryan, Francesca Dego, Atos Trio, and Trio di Parma, among others.
