Ms Tategami started her violin studies at the age of six. In 2011, she graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts and the Hochschule fur Musik “Hanns Eisler” in 2012, she completed her studies with a master’s degree from University of the Arts Berlin in 2015. Now she’s working on her Postgraduate Degree at the University of the Arts Vienna with Michael Frischenschlager. She has achieved excellent results at a great many competitions, just to mention a few: 1st Prize and the Special Award at the Children Violin Competition in Japan and in 2016, she received the Finalist Prize at the International Postacchini Competition and won the first edition of the “Orford Music Prize” in Canada. Also as a chamber musician, she has collected numerous prizes, such as the Best Chamber Music Award at the Pablo Casals Music Festival. She was a scholarship student of the Japanese government’s Agency of Cultural Affairs in 2015 and has performed recitals in several cities in Japan and Germany.
