Canadian-born violinist Shannon Lee made her orchestral debut with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the age of twelve. She performed Chausson's Poème and Franz Waxman's Carmen Fantasy - originally written for Jascha Heifetz. In the following years, she toured the U.S. and Europe and performed at prestigious music festivals. She recently graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Ida Kavafian and Arnold Steinhardt. Previously, she was under the tutelage of Mark Sloman and David Nadien. Simultaneously with her music studies, Ms Lee also earned a degree in computer science at Columbia University.
